01Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Autofy. These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Autofy, including our websites, apps, product surfaces, AI features, integrations, storage features, workflows, dashboards, and related services.
By creating an account, accessing Autofy, or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use Autofy. If you use a paid plan, your use is also governed by the plan details, usage limits, add-ons, and billing terms shown to you at checkout or inside your account.
In these Terms, "Autofy," "we," "us," and "our" mean Autofy. "You" and "your" mean the person using the service. If you use Autofy on behalf of a company, team, organization, or other group, "you" also means that organization where the context requires.
02Who Can Use Autofy
You may use Autofy only if you are old enough and legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your own context.
If you create an account or use Autofy on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have permission to do so and that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not have that authority, you must not use Autofy on the organization's behalf.
You are responsible for making sure your use of Autofy is allowed under the rules, policies, agreements, and obligations that apply to you or your organization.
03Your Account
You may need an account to use Autofy. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, connected accounts, API keys, access tokens, and devices secure. You are also responsible for activity that happens through your account, unless the activity was caused by Autofy's failure to protect the service.
You should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission, your credentials have been compromised, or a connected third-party service is behaving unexpectedly.
We may ask you to verify account ownership before we provide support, make changes to account settings, or process account-related requests.
04What Autofy Provides
Autofy is an AI-native operating platform for businesses and individuals. It helps users work with files, knowledge, AI memory, ecommerce channels, messaging platforms, email, task workflows, approvals, content creation, hosting add-ons, analytics, and connected business tools.
Autofy includes both business-facing and personal-facing product surfaces. Some features are designed for organizations and teams. Others are designed for individual users. The exact features available to you may depend on your plan, account type, workspace role, add-ons, usage level, and connected third-party services.
Autofy is an evolving product. We may add, improve, modify, limit, suspend, rename, or remove features as the platform develops. We do not promise that any specific feature, integration, workflow, user interface, or model behavior will remain available forever.
We may also release experimental, beta, preview, or early-access features. These features may be less stable, may change quickly, and may be removed or replaced without notice.
05Your Content and Data
You keep ownership of the files, text, images, documents, messages, product listings, ecommerce data, emails, notes, AI conversations, instructions, knowledge entries, workflows, and other content that you upload to, connect to, create in, or process through Autofy. We call this "Your Content."
Autofy does not claim ownership of Your Content.
You give Autofy a limited permission to host, store, process, transmit, display, analyze, transform, and otherwise operate on Your Content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, support, and improve the service. This includes actions such as indexing files, syncing connected channels, generating AI responses, creating documents, running workflows, showing dashboards, backing up data, and delivering support when you request it.
We do not sell Your Content. We do not share Your Content with third parties except where needed to provide the service, support integrations you choose to connect, comply with valid obligations, protect the service, or as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.
Personal Data and Company Data
Autofy is designed around a simple principle: users own their personal data, and organizations own their organization data.
Personal areas, personal files, personal AI memory, and personal workspace content belong to the individual user. Organization workspaces, company drives, company-shared AI memory, team workflows, shared files, shared integrations, and organization-managed content belong to the relevant organization.
If a person leaves an organization, their personal data should remain with them where technically and operationally feasible. Organization data should remain with the organization. Knowledge transfer between an individual user and an organization happens only with explicit consent from both sides, unless a separate written agreement or account configuration clearly says otherwise.
Your Responsibility for Your Content
You are responsible for Your Content and for how you use Autofy. You must not upload, connect, process, or generate content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, invasive of privacy, or designed to spread malware or compromise systems.
You are also responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use Your Content with Autofy. This includes files, customer data, product data, emails, messages, images, brand assets, third-party materials, and information from connected services.
06AI Outputs
Autofy includes AI-powered features. These features may generate text, summaries, classifications, product listings, workflows, recommendations, code, documents, replies, insights, and other outputs. We call these "AI Outputs."
AI Outputs can be useful, but they can also be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, misleading, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You should review AI Outputs before relying on them, publishing them, sending them to others, using them in business operations, or making important decisions based on them.
Subject to these Terms, your rights in Your Content, and any applicable third-party terms, you own the AI Outputs generated for you through Autofy. Autofy does not claim ownership of AI Outputs simply because they were generated through our service.
Autofy does not guarantee that AI Outputs will be accurate, original, non-infringing, complete, safe, or fit for any particular purpose. You are responsible for deciding whether an AI Output is appropriate for your use.
You must not use Autofy to generate or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, defamatory, abusive, privacy-invasive, rights-infringing, or designed to manipulate, exploit, or harm others.
Autofy is not a substitute for professional advice. AI Outputs should not be treated as legal, financial, medical, security, tax, or other professional advice. You should consult a qualified professional where appropriate.
07Third-Party Integrations
Autofy can connect with third-party services at your direction, including ecommerce platforms, messaging platforms, email providers, website tools, storage services, payment-related services, analytics services, and other business systems.
When you connect a third-party service, you authorize Autofy to access, process, sync, send, receive, display, and store the data needed to operate that integration, within the permissions you grant and the technical limits of that third-party service.
You are responsible for your accounts with third-party services, including their credentials, permissions, fees, terms, data, and configuration. Autofy is not responsible for the availability, reliability, security, behavior, policies, pricing, or support quality of third-party services.
If a third-party service changes its API, access rules, pricing, permissions, data format, account status, or terms, related Autofy features may stop working or may need to be changed. Disconnecting a third-party service may disable related Autofy features or workflows.
08Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Autofy. You must not use Autofy to:
- break the law or help others break the law;
- harm, exploit, harass, threaten, deceive, or impersonate others;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- upload or distribute malware, spyware, ransomware, phishing content, spam, or harmful code;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to Autofy, another user's account, connected services, or any system or network;
- bypass security, rate limits, usage limits, access controls, billing controls, or technical restrictions;
- interfere with the service or with another user's ability to use the service;
- scrape, copy, monitor, crawl, or extract data from Autofy in a way that is not allowed by the product or by written permission from us;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover source code, models, systems, prompts, security methods, or non-public service components, except where such restriction is not allowed;
- resell, white-label, sublicense, or present Autofy as your own service without our written permission;
- use AI features to create harmful, deceptive, illegal, defamatory, privacy-invasive, or rights-infringing content;
- overload the service with excessive automated requests or abusive usage patterns; or
- use Autofy in a way that creates legal, security, operational, or reputational risk for Autofy, our users, or third parties.
We may investigate suspected violations and take action when we believe it is necessary. This may include limiting features, suspending access, removing content, disconnecting integrations, contacting account owners, or terminating accounts.
09Subscriptions and Billing
Autofy may offer free and paid plans. Paid plans may unlock additional features, capacity, integrations, usage limits, storage, workflows, support levels, or add-ons.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Paddle, which acts as merchant of record for paid transactions. Checkout pages, invoices, receipts, renewal notices, tax handling, payment methods, and certain billing communications may be provided by Paddle or another payment processor we use.
Your subscription continues until canceled. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle.
You can cancel your subscription from your account settings or through the billing flow made available to you. Cancellation stops the next billing cycle. Your current paid period remains active until its end.
Plan details, pricing, usage limits, add-ons, and billing frequency are shown at checkout or inside your account. We may change pricing, plans, included features, usage limits, or add-on structures over time. When changes materially affect an active paid subscription, we will provide notice in a reasonable way.
All charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where Autofy chooses to issue a refund or credit at its discretion. Please see our Refund Policy for more details.
You are responsible for keeping your billing information accurate and for paying all charges associated with your account, plan, add-ons, and usage.
10Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Autofy or close your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Autofy if we reasonably believe that:
- you violated these Terms;
- your account creates security, legal, operational, or reputational risk;
- your use is abusive, harmful, fraudulent, or unauthorized;
- payment is overdue or cannot be processed;
- we are required to do so;
- your account has been inactive for an extended period; or
- continuing to provide the service would create material risk for Autofy, our users, or third parties.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. However, we may act immediately if needed to protect the service, users, connected services, or third parties.
After termination, we may provide a reasonable opportunity to export Your Content where feasible. After that period, we may delete or restrict access to data associated with the account, subject to backup, security, legal, billing, and operational retention needs.
Closing your account does not automatically create a refund right. It does stop future billing according to the cancellation process and the terms of your plan.
11Service Availability
We work to keep Autofy reliable and available, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
Temporary interruptions may happen because of maintenance, updates, security work, infrastructure issues, third-party outages, integration failures, model provider issues, network problems, user configuration issues, or events outside our reasonable control.
Unless we separately agree in writing, Autofy does not provide specific uptime commitments, response-time commitments, support-time commitments, or service-level credits.
12Disclaimers
Autofy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, and security.
We do not warrant that Autofy will meet every need, work with every third-party service, remain compatible with every workflow, produce accurate AI Outputs, prevent all data loss, or operate without interruption.
You are responsible for deciding whether Autofy is suitable for your intended use, including your business, compliance, technical, operational, and security requirements.
13Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted, Autofy's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to Autofy for the service during the 12 months before the claim arose. If you haven't paid Autofy anything during that period, our total liability is limited to zero.
To the maximum extent permitted, Autofy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, customers, business opportunities, goodwill, data, content, or anticipated savings.
These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory involved and even if Autofy has been advised that such damages are possible.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
14Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Autofy from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to:
- Your Content;
- your use of Autofy;
- your AI Outputs or how you use them;
- your connected third-party services;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your violation of any law, third-party right, or third-party agreement; or
- use of Autofy by anyone using your account or credentials.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim is caused by Autofy's own unlawful conduct or willful misconduct.
15Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as Autofy changes, as our business changes, or as legal, technical, or operational needs change.
If we make material changes, we will provide notice in a reasonable way, such as through the platform, by email, or through an account notice. The updated Terms will apply from the effective date shown at the top of the page or from another date stated in the notice.
If you continue using Autofy after updated Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using Autofy and cancel any paid subscription before the next billing cycle.
